Last week’s quote came from The Growly Books: Begin by Philip and Erin Ulrich, Chapter 13: “Hammocks”, and the [he] was Growly.
Becca guessed the right series, and Ellen guessed. . . everything else. π
He was glazed with fatigue. Β He had been bitten, cut, gone without rest. . . had saved and taken lives. Β He had risked his world, and now it was walking away from him, hand in hand with a ruffian prince.
Hint: I don't know if any of you have read this book, but the movie is really popular, so I think some of you might get it because of that.
Happy guessing!
The Princess Bride. Took me a couple minutes to fit it into the context of the move. (-:
I’m guessing it is ‘The Princess Bride,’ but I haven’t read the book. π
No clue. #Sigh #IHaveNoClue I’ll say The princess Bride, just because everyone else did. #ICanOnlyHope #Sigh #ThisIsWhoIAm
I don’t know either, Ellen π . But I’ll also guess The Princess Bride. Just ’cause everyone else did. I really don’t know π ~Savannah
I’m guessing The Princess Bride too! Don’t tell anyone, but I’ve actually never watched the movie, or read the book….. I’m just saying what everyone else is saying……. Can that still count? If it doesn’t, we could always pretend I’ve read the book! π ~Skylar
Um, yeah. I’m afraid I’m going to make so you have to be able to guess without looking at other peoples’ comments for it to count. You can now pretend you’ve read the book, Skylar. . . π
Guess I’ll have to pretend, too π ~Savannah
Yippee! I get to cheat! π ~Skylar
That’s not fair! What if you really have NO CLUE!??!?!?! You don’t want us crying over your posts do you?? I don’t think you do. #Pitiful #JustSmile
How can you say that it’s pitiful, yet the next thing you know, you’re telling us to smile…? π ~Skylar
If you really have NO CLUE, Ellen, then I’m not going to make it count! π
I’m guessing it’s the Princess Bride. That is one of the best movies ever! I also read parts of the book, not all of it. I prefer the movie way better.
Oh, and William Goldman wrote the book and the he is Westley, the ruffian prince is Humperdinck, and I’m guessing that his world is Buttercup.
I like the movie better too. I’ve also only read parts of the book. I skipped the modern part, and just read the fairy tale.
I didn’t like the modern part. For some reason, I never finished the fairy tale part either. I wanted it to be just like the movie.
