And so they stood on the walls of the City of Gondor, and a great wind rose and blew, and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air. (941)
–The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
This paints such a pretty picture, doesn’t it?
I saw the LOTR quote and had to smile ๐ . A quote I recognized right off the bat!
Yes, the picture it paints is beautiful. J. R. R. Tolkien really has a way with words, doesn’t he?
I know! I love his descriptions!
It does paint a pretty picture! I really need to finish reading the rest of Lord Of The Rings……… ๐ ~Skylar
Yes, you do. ๐ You’d love that part. . . I probably can’t tell you any more.
I’m guessing it’s romantic. Am I right??
– Jai
Yes, quite. ๐
;-P #RomanceFan ๐ #LoveThis
Really, why didn’t I see that coming?? *sigh*
Oh! I have a great idea! Let’s all ask Hanna to pick a favorite scene from Lord Of The Rings, and then ask her to draw it!!!! ๐ ~Sky
Um, wow. I don’t think I’m up for that! I would have to say THAT would be one of my very favorite scenes, and I do NOT think I’m qualified to draw that. I HAVE thought about drawing the scene where–oh, wait, I can’t talk about that yet, can I? Never mind!
Just draw stick figures kissing and hearts all over the place. It’ll get the point across. #LOL
ELLEN GRACE!! Seriously?!
Hey, what’s wrong with stick people??? ๐ ~Sky
Exactly!!! What’s wrong with hearts??
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. BUT IT’S THE LORD OF THE RINGS!! So it deserves so much more than stick-people. And there is SO much more to that scene. . . man! You need to finish those books so we can talk about them, Sky!
Hey, I know! At our RWW we should have a drawing lesson called, HOW TO DRAW THE PERFECT STICK PEOPLE ROMANCE SCENE. Isn’t that just PERFECT!?
