Don’t ask, I don’t know why I do this kind of thing to myself.
Yeah, they did it really well, but doing well pretty much MEANS making it sad. I wasn’t expecting to get super emotional about it, as I’d already seen most of the movies, read the book a million times, and been told exactly what happened–but it still made me cry. :'(
Then I’m so sorry Hanna, but for most of the movie, I don’t like Boromir. *braces herself for defensive comments*
Let me redeem myself, I love Boromir in that scene and that part of the movie!
I understand, and he does do things that drive me crazy. I think half the reason I love that scene so much is because Aragorn’s my favorite character. 😉 I’m actually kind-of mad that they gave Boromir the best quote of that conversation in the movies. “No! You have conquered. Few have gained such a victory. Be at peace! Minas Tirith will not fall.” :'(
Nora loves Boromir! Aragorn is my Aunt’s favorite character too. Personally, Gandalf is my favorite character because of his wit. He reminds me of my personality sometimes. (Not the spells, though I do wish……….? )
-Cerra Cat-
Nora? That’s so cute! Give her a high five for me. 🙂
I can totally understand why you’d love Gandalf, he’s one of my top favorite characters!
*cries* (but great job on the post! =))
-Ariel
Thanks! 🙂
*cries with you* THIS SOUNDS SO SAD!!
( I’ve never watched the movie, BUT STILL. )
Jaidyn Elise
It is sad! I didn’t see this scene the first time I saw the movies, and it made me cry when I watched it on the airplane.
Love this!!!! ??????
I love all your hearts! ♥♥♥ Are you a Boromir-fan too?
YOU HAD TO DO THAT QUOTE *sobs*
Seriously though, that part of the movie WAS good. But sad 🙁 *sniff*
(I was waiting for you to do a LotR quote post 😀 Loved it!)

*sobs uncontrollably* I don’t care what people say, I think Boromir is awesome! *cries*
Ditto, Micaiah.
I get very defensive about Boromir. 😉
