Colorado

Hi, ya’ll!  Sorry I haven’t posted in so long.  We got back from a short trip to Colorado last Thursday.  It was only a few days long, but a great trip–spending time with my family and the friends we stayed with, being outside, reading in the car (I love road-trips!), and. . . (drum-roll please!) my first time skiing.

It was a cross between the scariest, most stressful thing I had ever done, and the funnest and most exciting. 🙂

So. . . I have a love/hate relationship with skiing, at the moment.

But, I’m glad we went!  It was fun, and the weather was perfect, and the scenery was to die for.

But I didn’t die for it (I survived skiing!), so I’m back, and I’m hoping to start posting more.  I know I’ve been a wee bit sparse lately.

P.S. Can you get too old for dressing up?  We stayed with some friends of ours, and they had the best dress up clothes ever–and they even fit a fifteen-year-old!  What more could a girl ask for?

Happy Sunday! 🙂

  1. Skiing sounds like so much fun!! 🙂 No, you can NEVER get to old for dressing up! Especially if you’re dressing up in clothes like those!!! It makes you look so… elvish! Where can I get a cloak like that…??? 😀 ~Sky

    1. I’m not sure where they got it. . . Sorry. Elvish? Well, that was my friend’s goal when she dressed me up, so I’ll tell her she succeeded! 🙂
Yes, skiing is fun! You should try it sometime–I think you’d like it, Miss Three Sleds At Once. 😀

  2. Skiing sounds awesome, now I want to try it sometime 😀 . Sounds like your trip to Colorado was fun! What was your favorite part of it?
That CLOAK … and the DRESS … oh, me wants very badly 😀 (and I love the way your hair is done in that picture!) . Your friends have super-awesome dress-up clothes! You would make a very good elf in that outfit. *nods*

    1. I know, they were awesome! Like I told Sky, my friend did my hair and was trying to make it look Elvish, so apparently she knows what she’s doing!
Favorite part? Um. . . skiing, and dressing up, and seeing our friends again, and reading Middle Earth books in the car. . . You get the point! 🙂

  3. Hi Hanna!
No, no one is too old to dress up. 😉
That is such a beautiful dress!! 😉 Now I think your making Savannah want a cloak more then ever. How did you fix your hair like that? It looks very good on you. 😉

  4. Great pictures!!! You can’t ever be too old to dress up. ?
You really could be an elf! All you need is some pointy ears… ???

  5. Hello Hanna. I’m glad you liked OUR house so much. I hope your ears aren’t sore, I shouldn’t have pulled on them so hard. And I think the name “friend” suits me well.

    1. Hey, Emily! I’m glad you commented! I didn’t know you read my blog–I didn’t say anything bad about you guys, right?? 😉
No, my ears aren’t sore. It was actually kinda’ funny!
      Really? Okay, Friend it is!
