??? {Mystery Quote #8} ???

“Mystery Quote” time again! 🙂

Last week’s quote came from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Wow.  I finally managed to ‘stump’ you guys (to quote Leah 🙂 ).  Though that part of the book doesn’t have a lot to do with the problems being faced in the rest of the books and was left out of the movies, and isn’t as popular.  Also, like I said, the second character only comes in in that chapter, so that probably threw some people off.  Anyway, our next quote:

But when tomorrow came, the children had more than bread and milk, as you will soon see.

Hmm. . . this might be a hard one too.  I know it’s a popular book though!  Happy guessing!

P.S.  Click here to read Spencer’s Memorial Day post.  Just sayin’, it’s really good!

P.P.S.  You should totally watch this!  “Jesus Loves Me” in Chinese, with a little cartoon to go with it.  It’s so cute!  There’s also English, Spanish, and Russian versions by the same people you could look for.

  1. Oh my word! That quote was from The Lord of the Rings, and I didn’t even make any guess?! Just goes to show that I need to read those books some more 🙂 . Do you know how many times you have read through that series? Yes, the name Robin definitely threw me off … I don’t even remember a character named Robin in the book!
Anyways … I don’t have any guesses as to what your quote is, but I’ll keep thinking. Or Google it 🙂 . ~Savannah

    1. I think I’ve read “The Fellowship of the Ring” four times, and the other two three (counting one time when I listened to them). And that doesn’t count the times I only read a one chapter or so! #ImAReReader #Totally 🙂
And Robin was just some random hobbit-sheriff at the very end, that Sam talks to. Maybe I should have done a more well-know quote! I never thought I’d stump you guys for the first time with “The Lord of the Rings”! 🙂

  2. Such a cute song! Thank you for sharing.

I already googled the quote, so guessing at this point would probably be cheating. . . . 😉

  3. Ok, I got it.
It’s from the Boxcar Children, book 1. I guess that’s the only title. Do I get brownie points if I tell you the chapter?? 🙂

      1. Okay then. It’s from chapter………….just a minute while I go and look it up………
Chapter 8: A swimming Pool at Last It took me FOREVER to find it but, there it is! 🙂 Now I would like my brownie. 😉
